Hilda Patricia Palencia
Engineering/Leadership/Innovation

Hello,
a bit about me:
I am passionate about working in engineering and science projects and programs and exploring new ways of doing things!
For the last 6 years, working at NASA Ames Research Center, my experience was focused on aerospace projects through advanced mission study, preliminary analysis, design and development, handling and transportation, and operations of space systems; in the areas of design, fabrication, integration and test verifications, mission assurance and quality operation requirements. I worked together with multi-disciplinary teams in engineering, science, management, and others to build a Moon spacecraft and other systems for space exploration and experimentation used at International Space Station. I have been part of all successful projects; for more information, check out "My Work" section.
I have received several awards. One of them being a full sponsorship from the center’s office to attend the Space Studies Program (SSP2014) for the International Space University (ISU). I successfully completed this 2-month intense leadership program. Others include NASA Honor Awards and the Hispanic IT Executive Council Rising Leaders.
I received a Masters in Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelors in Science Degree in Computer Engineering. Check out "My Resume" Section for more information on my education and other accomplishments.
